3. TikTok Login and Platform Integrations

If you choose to sign in or connect your TikTok account to GoodSpouse, TikTok may ask you to authorize GoodSpouse to access limited account information. We only receive the information you approve through TikTok’s authorization screen.

Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include basic TikTok account information such as your TikTok user ID, display name, username, and profile image.

We use TikTok-provided information only to provide the feature you requested, such as account login, account connection, or identity-related functionality. We do not sell TikTok-provided data. We do not use TikTok-provided data for unrelated advertising or profiling.

You may revoke TikTok access at any time through your TikTok account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. After revocation or account deletion, we will delete or anonymize TikTok-provided personal data unless retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational needs.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Match you with compatible users

Our website contains links and embedded content from social and video platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X. When you click a social link or load embedded content, those providers may collect identifiers, device data, usage data, and cookies under their own policies. We do not control their processing. Supervisory Authority

11. Third-Party Platform Integrations (including TikTok)

This section describes how GoodSpouse collects, uses, and shares information when you choose to connect TikTok services or when we use TikTok measurement tools. TikTok integrations are optional unless a feature you request requires them. Use of TikTok services is also subject to TikTok's own policies, including the TikTok Privacy Policy, TikTok Ads Terms of Service, and applicable TikTok for Developers terms.

TikTok Login Kit and Data Portability

If you connect your TikTok account to GoodSpouse using TikTok Login Kit or authorize TikTok data portability features, we receive only the information you explicitly approve on TikTok's authorization screen. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include profile information (such as display name or avatar), public activity information, videos, or direct messages.

We use TikTok-sourced data only to provide the GoodSpouse features you request, such as account sign-in, profile import, or content features you initiate. We do not sell TikTok-sourced personal data to advertisers or unrelated third parties.

TikTok App Events (Measurement)

When enabled, GoodSpouse may send app event information to TikTok through TikTok's Events API for advertising measurement and campaign optimization. This may include hashed identifiers (such as a hashed email address, phone number, or internal user ID), app events (such as account registration or subscription activation), device or app metadata, and transaction-related properties where applicable. We hash identifiable data before transmission where supported by the integration.

TikTok may use this information in accordance with its policies to measure ad performance and improve advertising services. Our use of TikTok measurement tools is also subject to the TikTok Ads Terms of Service. We do not send TikTok your plaintext password or full unhashed account credentials through this integration.

How We Share TikTok-Related Information

Information related to TikTok integrations is shared only with TikTok and its service providers as necessary to operate the integration you authorize, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of GoodSpouse. We do not sell TikTok-related personal data.

Data Retention and Security

We retain TikTok-related information only as long as needed to provide requested features, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect information processed through TikTok integrations.

Your Choices

You may revoke TikTok permissions at any time through your TikTok account settings, disconnect TikTok in GoodSpouse account settings where available, or contact us at [email protected]. Revoking access may limit related GoodSpouse features.
